DUAL REAR WHEEL UPGRADE TO SCHOOL BUS FLEET
WA-based school bus operator Regional Transit runs a fleet of 20 buses across the WA’s regional South-West, and owner James McCabe has just taken delivery of his newest bus, an Iveco Daily dual rear wheel 17-seat bus for country routes.
In business for 18 years, James opted for Iveco Daily’s in-built stability and durability from its full-chassis design and air-bag rear suspension.
“I’m much happier with this rear axle set-up rather than the conventional single rear wheels on our smaller commuter buses,” he said.
James’ experience with country school bus operations means the school children on his runs will enjoy a safer travel experience on broken country roads with sometimes dubious soft edges.
Iveco Daily’s design means big-bus strength and stability is now available in smaller bus operations, and suggests additional school bus sales for this uniquely qualified model.
The Iveco Daily delivers outstanding comfort and safety for drivers with an air seat and a full-suite of digital safety features. The 180hp turbo diesel engine powers Iveco’s 8-speed automatic transmission for class-leading fuel efficiency.
