Derek and Vicki Pascoe just took delivery of the first Iveco X-Way B-Double prime mover to be sold in WA. The new truck will be used in heavy-duty construction work towing a single tipping trailer for various construction groups, including WA Limestone and Hansen’s.

Derek pointed out that he has two preferences when it comes to new trucks. “I prefer European cab-overs for the comfort and driver features, and Iveco is the best of the bunch,” he said. 

Derek and his wife Vicki work together in their family company and both are on the road constantly. A 45-year truck veteran on the east coast as well as here in WA, Derek’s choice of brand is a significant testament to the reliability and driver-centric design of Iveco’s prime movers. 

“I can finish a long drive fresh and ready for more in the X-Way,” he said. “In sort, the truck does it all, and the fuel efficiency is outstanding."

The new B-Double rated X-Way is the first of a string of new Iveco’s about to start their working life in the Ashlee fleet.
